Provider Subnet
Each subnet is accompanied by a corresponding DAO responsible for its management and governance. DAO members, who are also subnet members, participate in setting the price for resources, making subnet infrastructure changes, adding or removing resources, and distributing rewards among participants. This decentralized governance model eliminates the risk of a central point of failure within the protocol.
Sovereign subnets also follow this model; however, in a provider subnet, the members are one or more crypto addresses controlled and managed by the entity that created the subnet. Complete Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is supported.
